Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An infusion pharmacy based in Tulsa, OK is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity, starting ASAP. This role operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, to support home infusion services for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and ensure patient compliance.
• Monitor over-usage patterns and maintain medication supply within legal guidelines.
• Evaluate and monitor drug therapies for home care patients, ensuring safety and efficacy.
• Compound and prepare sterile infused medications following strict protocols.
• Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications, including dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Deliver patient services like smoking cessation support, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management.
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks to maintain efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and pharmacy interns to resolve drug-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
• Current, valid Oklahoma pharmacist license.
• IV certification preferred.
• Experience compounding infused drugs and home infusion pharmacy.
• Proven ability to evaluate and monitor drug therapies in a home care setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Participation in professional pharmacy societies is a plus.
