TMCO is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a 3rd Shift Powder Coating Team Lead. This role is responsible for leading nightly operations while ensuring quality, safety, and production goals are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous manufacturing or powder coating experience required; leadership experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a warm environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to lead a team and communicate clearly
- Ability to follow and enforce verbal and written instructions
- Dependable with strong problem-solving skills
Job Duties:
Lead and support all aspects of a busy powder coating operation on 3rd shift, including but not limited to:
- Oversee nightly production and ensure schedules and goals are met
- Lead, train, and support team members on shift
- Apply powder coating to parts as needed
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of parts on the line
- Monitor part preparation and coating quality
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate with management as needed
- Assist with packaging and basic assembly when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Enforce safety policies and procedures
