Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year A bit about us: We are a Manhattan based midsize, principal-led GC building some of New York City's most complex large-scale, mixed-use, hospitality, and residential projects. We're hiring a Staff Project Accountant to join our finance team and support project managers on a portfolio of active jobs. This is an in-office full-time position based in Midtown. Visibility to ownership and senior leadership from day one Variety of project types — no two months look the same Defined path to Senior Project Accountant and beyond Competitive benefits, PTO, and 401(k) Job Details What you'll do: Prepare AIA G702/G703 owner billings and supporting documentation Review and process subcontractor pay applications, lien waivers, and insurance certificates Maintain job cost data, change order logs, and contract compliance files Support PMs with monthly cost reports and reconciliations Track subcontractor compliance (W-9s, COIs, vendor setup) Assist with month-end close and ad-hoc projects for the Controller What we're looking for: 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in construction or a related project-based industry Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Working knowledge of Sage 300 CRE (Timberline), Procore, or similar construction ERPs a plus Strong Excel skills and an eye for detail Someone who wants to learn the trade from the ground up at a high-performing firm Interested in hearing more?
