If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, and conduct engineering solutions on projects of various sizesPerform engineering work in process design and/or rehabilitation of water and wastewater treatment facilitiesDevelop plans and specificationsPrepare cost estimates for various water, wastewater, and reuse projectsSupervise or coordinate the work of a few staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignmentsPerform permitting and alternative analysisPrepare technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverablesComplete data entry and analysisProvide engineering services during constructionParticipate in field activities such as pilot testingParticipate in in professional associations, including attendance and participation in local, regional, and national conferences and/or chapter eventsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, chemical or other similar engineering fieldMinimum academic requirements including coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design6 to 12 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineeringRegistration as a Professional EngineerApplication of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniquesStrong verbal and written communication skillsWorks well in a team environmentHighly motivated and self-starterProficient in MS Word and ExcelPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in civil, chemical or environmental engineeringCompensation RangeAn employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.Other Compensation and BenefitsCarollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
