Adults and Geriatrics

100% Inpatient

Patient Volume: Varies

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Daily Post-Procedural Care for Neurosurgery Patients

Perform Inpatient Patient Management and Follow-Up

Communicate With Patients and Families Regarding Care and Treatment

Provide Patient and Family Education

Collaborate With the Neurosurgery Team

Work Closely With an Employed Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner

Requirements

Board Certified – Required

Active Virginia License in Hand – Required

Candidates Needing to Obtain a Virginia License Will Not Be Accepted

Active ACLS – Required

Active BLS – Required

Active DEA – Required

Clean Background – Required

No Malpractice or License Issues – Required

Credentialing

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 Days
