Growing together.We are looking to expand our sales team by adding a driven and dedicated Sales Executive to the Payer Sales team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for new business growth in an assigned territory responsible for Optum's Value Based Care focused on the Payer market. Candidates must be able to travel 50% regionally travel to client locations.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Sourcing and identifying new business opportunities in assigned geographic territoryMaking initial contact with prospective clients and managing customer relationships until execution of contractSell and market the Optum Insight ACO to prospective clientsAttend all pertinent industry conferences, trade shows, and functions as seen to benefit the organization and grow our client baseContinually grow revenue base in assigned geographic territoryMaintain high level relationships with key Payer contacts which result in new contract opportunitiesRegularly schedule client meetings to follow up on new business opportunities and re-educate existing clients of Optum's available service linesCommunicate on a regular basis with internal teammates and management to ensure weekly business growth goals are achieved on a consistent basisSuccessfully execute sales initiatives and goals within assigned territoryUse enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks and drive continuous improvementYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:10+ years of full-cycle sales experience in the healthcare industryProven track record of success in achieving individual quota targetsWillingness and ability to travel 50% of the timeDriver's License and access to reliable transportationPreferred Qualifications:Health Plan industry experienceExperience working with Value Based Care SolutionsExperience working with and selling to Accountable Care Organizations and NetworksProficiency in Account Planning and understanding of territory managementProven ability to generate your own leads as well as work with inside sales teamProven ability to provide timely and accurate revenue forecastingPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $90,000 to $195,000 annually based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance.
