For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four days per week.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership in designing and developing modern, scalable, and high-performance front-end applications using ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and component-driven architecturesOwn front-end delivery end-to-end, including UI architecture, development, testing, performance optimization, deployment, and monitoringDevelop and maintain Node.js-based backend services to support UI integration, API consumption, server-side logic, and build/deployment workflowsBuild intuitive, responsive, accessible, and user-centric UI experiences using React, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworksCollaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and backend engineering teams to translate business requirements into efficient, scalable, maintainable UI solutionsIdentify and resolve front-end performance bottlenecks, rendering issues, and scalability challenges, ensuring a smooth user experienceLead and mentor front-end engineers, promoting best practices in coding, testing, documentation, and architectural patternsEnsure high-quality integration with backend APIs and data services by working closely with Java Springboot and backend engineering teamsDrive Agile delivery practices to include sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, CI/CD, and DevOps collaborationCreate and maintain front-end technical documentation, including architecture designs, reusable component libraries, and coding standardsStay updated on emerging Java and Spring Boot technologies, frameworks, and ecosystem trends to continuously enhance product quality and engineering efficiencyYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field6+ years of professional software development experience including full-stack engineering6+ years of expertise with JavaScript/TypeScript, React Hooks, Redux or other state management frameworks, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and micro frontend architecture6+ years of hands-on experience with React and frontend ecosystems3+ years of solid experience developing and deploying backend applications using Java and Spring Boot and RESTful APIs1+ years of experience deploying, managing, and optimizing applications on cloud platforms1+ years of solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices1+ years of practical working knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Splunk, Datadog, or equivalents1+ years of experience with integrating AI/ML APIs and tools (OpenAI, Claude, CoPilot, etc.) into application workflowsPreferred QualificationsExperience in the healthcare domain, including understanding of healthcare data workflows and compliance considerationsHands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, microservices architecture, REST API development, and backend design patternsExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like KubernetesBackground in performance optimization, application monitoring, and distributed loggingFamiliarity with DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or similarPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
