Please note: We are seeking an Infrastructure Solution Architect (Senior) to join the Special Test Equipment Support team in El Segundo, CA . This role manages IT infrastructure supporting special test equipment in factory and launch environments. The role requires the ability to lead a team, coordinate across disciplines, design and modernize hybrid infrastructure, and provide subject‑matter expertise. Position Responsibilities Interface with multiple technical disciplines in a team environment Lead a team of engineers to execute the computing & data storage infrastructure and tools scope of work Provide expertise, leadership, and mentoring to the infrastructure team Work with the Infrastructure Manager to transform existing Test IT infrastructure Plan, design, integrate, secure, optimize, monitor, migrate, and modernize infrastructure Implement best practices to manage server rooms Leverage technical knowledge of infrastructure software and product security to maintain, improve, deploy, and harden complex test infrastructure Plan and design hybrid infrastructure comprising on‑prem systems and cloud services Develop engineering documentation and processes to reduce waste and maximize repeatability Work in a hands‑on lab environment with a variety of test equipment Availability: The Infrastructure Team operates 24/7, requiring availability during nights, weekends, and alternate shifts. Basic Qualifications (Required) Experience with Microsoft Azure certifications (Fundamentals, Architect, DevOps, etc.) 10+ years of related work experience or equivalent education & experience Experience managing data center and large IT systems Experience in operating systems: Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux Experience with recent versions of VMWare (ESXi and vCenter) Previous cybersecurity technical experience Experience in enterprise storage Experience in DevOps cloud system design Experience with security considerations and compliance standards Preferred Qualifications (Desired) Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or equivalent qualifications Experience in CI/CD and DevOps automated deployment Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent Layer‑2/3 networking experience Experience in Linux servers, Windows OS, and network‑based storage systems Experience in Satellite Test and STE Operations Readiness Security Clearance: Requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with a counterintelligence polygraph post‑start.
