As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to access-related concerns. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors entering financial institution areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-control records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
