Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical unit. This position involves providing high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations. The RN will work in a collaborative environment, utilizing Meditech software for documentation and patient management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
