Job Summary:

The EP Tech Unit specializes in providing experienced diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology technologists for outpatient procedures. Candidates will support cardiac catheterization and EP lab services with a focus on patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist physicians during cardiac electrophysiology procedures by setting up, calibrating, and operating specialized equipment.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and activity throughout procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and maintain sterile fields, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
  
  
• 
  Document procedure details accurately in transcripts and electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Provide patient education on procedures, post-procedure care, and safety measures.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold at least 1 year of clinical experience in electrophysiology or cath lab settings.
  
  
• 
  Possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Certification from CCI RCES preferred.
  
  
• 
  Must have or obtain pending NM/Compact license prior to start date.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong understanding of electrophysiology procedures and equipment.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to float within scope and work in a fast-paced cardiac environment.
