APT | Accredited Physical Therapist

Join a dedicated team of therapists in a supportive, low-stress environment offering flexible scheduling to promote a healthy work-life balance. This role primarily focuses on outpatient care (approximately 95%) with occasional inpatient responsibilities, providing 45-minute appointment slots that ensure personalized, high-quality treatment and excellent patient satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

• Apply knowledge of physical medicine, therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot physical therapy equipment.
• Supervise certified Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides within the department.
• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized rehabilitation plans to improve strength, flexibility, range of motion, motor control, and alleviate pain or swelling.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and recommend adjustments to physicians as necessary.
• Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, geriatrics, and general populations.
• Identify pain levels that hinder rehabilitation progress and coordinate with physicians for appropriate interventions.

Education and Experience

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program or hold a certificate in Physical Therapy from a recognized college or university.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Clinical internships in both outpatient and inpatient settings completed during education.
• Preferred: One or more years of experience encompassing all facets of physical therapy.
