Work Environment\n

This position will be primarily remote, providing you with the flexibility to conduct sessions from your preferred location while still being integrated within our supportive clinic culture. Raven's Mouth Integrated Life Services operates a community health clinic setting, allowing you to engage with a diverse patient population requiring varied therapeutic interventions. Our clinic is open from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, providing you the flexibility to create a schedule that aligns with your work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Raven's Mouth Integrated Life Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' histories and determining appropriate treatment approaches.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, with proficiency in modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
\n
• Delivering individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process past traumas, develop effective coping strategies, and promote holistic healing.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses all aspects of the patient’s wellbeing.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies and maintaining a supportive presence for clients in distress.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to them.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of professionalism in clinical practice.

• Engaging in regular case consultations, participating in team meetings, and attending ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Staying informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Illinois.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome newer professionals with strong knowledge and a willingness to learn. It is essential to have experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and a proactive attitude towards personal and professional growth.

Compensation and Benefits\n
