Accounts Payable CoordinatorClayton Services is searching for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join a thriving company in West Houston. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for processing high-volume invoices, managing vendor accounts, reconciling discrepancies, and providing financial and administrative support to the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have extensive accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, and hands-on experience using NetSuite.Job Type: Temporary/Contract (Approximately 90 days) Pay Rate: $25.00/hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Location: West HoustonAccounts Payable Coordinator Responsibilities:Process high-volume accounts payable invoices, ensuring accurate coding, documentation, approvals, and timely payment.Review, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices, statements, and expense reports.Enter, process, adjust, and void invoices within NetSuite as needed.Route invoices for appropriate coding and approval while resolving processing exceptions.Process payment requests, check disbursements, and ACH transactions.Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor account inquiries.Maintain vendor records, including new vendor setup, tax identification verification, and banking information updates.Review purchase order and non-purchase order invoices, including three-way matching.Reconcile vendor statements, track outstanding invoices, and ensure proper application of credits.Respond to vendor inquiries and payment requests through an accounts payable helpdesk or ticketing system.Assist with month-end closing activities, financial reporting, and audit documentation.Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.Accounts Payable Coordinator Skills and Abilities:Strong working knowledge of full-cycle accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.Hands-on NetSuite experience required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.Knowledge of invoice processing, payment disbursements, vendor reconciliations, and expense reporting.Understanding of purchase order matching, internal controls, and 1099 reporting.Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial transactions.Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment.Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.Accounts Payable Coordinator Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience preferred, ideally in a high-volume, full-cycle AP environment.Previous hands-on experience using NetSuite is required.Experience processing invoices, resolving exceptions, reconciling vendor statements, and managing payment disbursements.Experience with vendor setup, banking verification, and expense report processing.Familiarity with additional accounts payable automation or expense management systems is a plus.Accounts Payable Coordinator - Immediate need.
