Power BI analyst

Our client, a leading Manufacturing organization, is seeking a Power BI Analyst (Contract) to join their team.

As a Power BI Analyst, you will be part of the Finance & Analytics department supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Power BI Analyst- Financial Reporting (Contract)

Location: Oak Brook, IL (On-Site, Monday to Friday)

Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience

What's the Job?

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial reporting and performance analysis

• Partner with FP&A and Accounting teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple sources and systems

• Optimize data models and DAX formulas for performance and usability

• Provide documentation and training for dashboard users and stakeholders

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and DAX

• Strong understanding of financial reporting and manufacturing KPIs

• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling best practices

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
