Role Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our dedicated team. This position plays a critical role in the design, development, and production of advanced power delivery and energy systems. The successful candidate will work onsite in Fremont, California, contributing to innovative technology solutions in a collaborative, action-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and build complex testing hardware for electrical engineering systems down to the component level.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical engineering testing hardware to resolve technical issues at the component level.
• Perform approved procedures for high-voltage enablement and disablement safely and systematically.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers to develop customized test systems tailored to specific project requirements.
• Fabricate, update, and repair specialized wire harnesses for electric vehicles during crucial development phases.
• Support engineering lab preparedness by maintaining precise inventory, ensuring clear workspaces, and managing tools and test equipment.

Required Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent technical certification in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related field.

Experience: Practical experience in laboratory environments, electronic hardware troubleshooting, or wire harness fabrication.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, utilizing specialized test and measurement equipment, and executing precision soldering or component assembly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with electric vehicle platforms or advanced battery systems.
• Familiarity with high-voltage safety standards and established testing protocols.
