Service Department Lead Coordinator

We are looking for a Service Department Lead Coordinator in the Charlotte, NC area on behalf of a veteran owned and family operated industrial compressor installation, service, and distributor in the Carolinas. This close knit team is looking for a coordinator that will be the glue between service technicians and the operations team. This role will entail scheduling technicians, coordinating with customers, and preparing quotes.

Responsibilities:

• Own and direct the weekly schedule and dispatch field service technicians servicing industrial equipment throughout North and South Carolina.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for plant and maintenance managers across various industries (manufacturing, healthcare, food production, etc.); write and deliver service quotes in collaboration with technicians.
• Manage job details, service entries, and customer records within NetSuite/ERP system.
• Pivot quickly to handle urgent customer needs or schedule changes throughout the day with an agile, solution-oriented mindset.
• Work closely with management, and an internal office team to maintain seamless communication across service and parts operations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in scheduling, dispatch, or customer coordination within an industrial, technical, or service environment.
• Proactive communicator; comfortable asserting authority over schedules and engaging directly with business-to-business clients.
• Comfort navigating ERP or Field Service Management (FSM) software (experience with NetSuite, Prophet 21, or ServiceTitan is a plus, but not required).
• No direct technical expertise requiredstrong organizational and interpersonal skills are prioritized.
