About The Company:

A nonprofit ministry organization focused on serving people affected by incarceration and supporting at-risk populations. This Customer Service Representative will provide support during the organization’s busy fundraising season.

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Customer Service Representative to provide support to individuals calling in during the fundraising season. The ideal candidate is committed to providing excellent service, can quickly learn new systems, and is comfortable handling a high volume of calls with professionalism and patience.

This is a seasonal assignment, and candidates must be able to commit to the full assignment through January 8, 2027. Candidates will also need to be mindful of and work around the upcoming holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound customer calls and provide accurate, compassionate assistance
• Navigate a multi-line phone system and in-house database
• Respond to questions and help callers find solutions
• Use Microsoft Outlook regularly and Excel as needed
• Make outbound calls when necessary, including scripted calls
• Maintain professionalism and patience when assisting callers
• Support the team throughout the busy fundraising season

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience
• Experience answering inbound calls; multi-line phone systems are a plus
• Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and basic Excel experience
• Clear and professional English communication skills
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
• Ability to learn and navigate an in-house database
• Comfortable making outbound/cold calls and following a script
• Compassionate approach and genuine desire to serve at-risk populations
• Reliable and able to commit to the full seasonal assignment
