Production Supervisor

R10086303 Production Supervisor (Open) Location: Troy, MI - Filling industrial Responsibilities Organize the cylinder filling to minimize cylinder handling; before out‑off, fill the cylinder on stock; after out‑off, fill the cylinder to cover customer requirements. Contribute to filling operations according to the operations plan: monitor filling start‑up and stop in a safe manner, follow procedures, and coordinate parameters for connection/disconnection of cylinders, careful operation of valves, and carry out analysis, batch numbering, label application, and traceability documentation. Monitor parameters, perform tests, and check physical data to advance production in quality and quantity, supporting corrective operations when parameters are not optimized. Build alignment during the first response in emergency situations, initiate safety procedures, and keep management informed to foster understanding of safety or activity issues. Organize primary & secondary cylinder handling operations by performing tasks for empty cylinders (organized truck flow, selection/sorting, test date review, and positioning in buffer zone) and for full cylinders (preparing per customer orders, moving from buffer or stock, coordinating truck loading); all forklift activity linked to secondary distribution is included. Pioneer operations compliance with safety procedures, especially lock‑out and confined spaces; support consistent use of protective equipment; ensure quality procedures for process and final product analysis in day‑to‑day operations, contributing to analytic plans. Maintain the operations book and administrative documentation, enter daily production data, track production events, prepare and communicate incident reports, and collaborate with SOPs, P&IDs, PFDs, and other technical documentation related to plant‑specific equipment. Contribute to process improvement by identifying opportunities for procedure enhancement from incident analysis, recognizing potential risks, and proposing changes that advance safety or productivity. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related field. 1+ year(s) of experience or equivalent as a new engineer.
