About Park Schools

Park Schools is a Montessori-inspired early childhood education center serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old . Our approach combines Montessori principles, S.T.E.A.M. education, hands-on learning, and enrichment experiences to support each child’s academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth.

We are looking for an organized, energetic, and dependable Program Coordinator to help coordinate school programs, special activities, events, and day-to-day program operations.

Position Overview

The Program Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring Park Schools’ programs and activities are organized, engaging, and successfully implemented.

This position works closely with school leadership, teachers, staff, families, and outside partners to coordinate enrichment programs, school events, special activities, and other initiatives that enhance the student and family experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once . Experience in early childhood education, school administration, program coordination, or a related environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support school programs, enrichment activities, special events, and family engagement initiatives
• Develop and maintain program calendars, schedules, timelines, and activity plans
• Coordinate with teachers and school leadership to ensure programs align with classroom needs and school goals
• Communicate program information, schedules, reminders, and updates to families and staff
• Assist with planning seasonal events, celebrations, field trips, workshops, and other school activities
• Coordinate with vendors, community partners, instructors, and other outside providers when needed
• Track registrations, participation, attendance, supplies, and other program-related information
• Prepare materials, resources, and supplies needed for programs and events
• Help ensure activities are age-appropriate, organized, safe, and consistent with Park Schools’ educational philosophy
• Support student transitions and daily school operations when needed
• Maintain organized program records, documents, and reports
• Collect feedback from families, teachers, and staff to help improve programs
• Assist with promoting upcoming programs and events to current and prospective families
• Identify opportunities for new enrichment activities and programs
• Collaborate with school leadership on program improvements and new initiatives
• Provide administrative and operational support as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous experience in program coordination, education, childcare, school administration, event coordination, or a related field preferred
• Experience working in an early childhood or Montessori environment is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable communicating professionally with parents, teachers, vendors, and school leadership
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and other common administrative tools
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
• Positive, professional, and solution-oriented attitude
• Genuine interest in supporting children, families, and educators
