Business Analyst

JCW is working on a contract Business Analyst / Credit Risk Analyst opportunity with a leading financial services organization - onsite in San Antonio, TX, 6 months with strong extension potential.
This role sits at the intersection of consumer credit risk strategy, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making. You'll be working closely with risk, compliance, and technology teams to analyze credit risk data, document business requirements, and help shape strategic initiatives.
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years in business analysis, credit risk analytics, or consumer lending analytics (or advanced degree + 2+ years)
- Advanced SQL and SAS skills - hands-on, not theoretical
- Solid understanding of banking regulations: FCRA, Reg B, UDAAP, OCC standards
- Experience in a large bank, financial institution, or fintech environment
- Strong communication skills - you can translate complex data into executive-level insight
