Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in a short-term acute care setting located in Sonora, CA. Start date 08/31/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,988–$2,087. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to ER patients using the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments per protocol, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and ancillary teams to coordinate timely, safe patient care.
- Document thoroughly in the electronic health record, with EPIC experience utilized to support care delivery.
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education to ensure continuity of care after transition.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse license active in the state of practice (California preferred/required).
- BLS certification; CPR or equivalent required.
- ACLS and PALS certification required.
- EPIC experience is required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER or acute care experience.
- BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with relevant experience.
