Maintenance Technician

Operating and maintaining Preston Communities assets (apartment homes and/or office buildings) by performing the following duties. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Monitor turns, vacant units, and move-outs. Maintain exterior appearance of property to present good "street appeal". Complete work orders. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that building systems and physical condition of assets do not deteriorate. Perform daily trash pick up, including pet waste, cigarette butts, etc. Be on an on‑call rotation for after‑hours and weekend maintenance emergencies. All other duties as assigned. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, and smell. Occasionally required to sit. Must regularly lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Work Environment Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; extreme cold and extreme heat. Occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CPO, EPA Certifications (Recommended).
