Marketing and Event Specialist

Position Purpose The Marketing Specialist is a hands‑on role supporting day‑to‑day marketing efforts in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. This position plays a key role in executing events, coordinating across internal teams, and ensuring projects stay organized and on track from start to finish. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn. A strong interest in marketing, storytelling, and event execution—along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑paced environment—is essential. Responsibilities Content Creation & Management: develop, curate, and manage diverse content including short articles, social media updates, video scripts, etc.; ensure all content aligns with brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines. Vendor & Creative Coordination Assistance: coordinate with creative vendors (photographers, designers, videographers) by managing schedules, gathering assets, organizing feedback; support the creative request process, deliver materials on time; maintain organized files and asset libraries. Event Coordination: support event planning and execution, including logistics, timelines, day‑of coordination; coordinate with vendors and partners; maintain calendars, event materials, and track basic performance metrics. Strategy & Development: collaborate with the Director of Marketing to create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy; focus on engaging investors and stakeholders; stay updated on trends and best practices; research new content formats and marketing tactics. Brand Promotion & Reputation Management: actively promote company brand, values, and initiatives across social channels; monitor online conversations, respond to issues promptly to maintain positive perception. Education / Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in content marketing, social media management, or related field. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Proficiency in using social media platforms and analytics tools.
