Qualified candidates will be eligible for up to a $7,500 sign-on bonus. (*Current AHC employees not eligible – see below under additional details.)Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Cardiovascular Certified Surgical Technician (CVCST) who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.As the Cardiovascular Certified Surgical Technician, you will:Assists the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient careHelp surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile suppliesPrepare the Operation Room with all the necessary suppliesProperly sterilize required instruments and suppliesServe as surgical assistant as neededAssist in order and restocking Operating Room supplies and instrumentsQualifications include:High school or GED requiredGraduate of an accredited Surgical Technician programCertified Surgical Technologist (CST)1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferredOne to three years cardiac surgical scrub tech experience in a hospital setting highly preferredWork Schedule:6am- 430pm, Monday thru Friday, day off varies, On call requiredCurrent AHC employees are not eligible for a sign-on bonus who are transferring from one entity to another and/or transferring within their entity.
