We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance; Short Term Disability; Company 401(k) Plan; Paid Time Off; Holidays; Education & Training Opportunities.As an HVAC Technician / HVAC Leader, you will:Make repairs and perform preventative HVAC maintenance.Complete jobs on schedule and maintain quality control, completing paperwork accurately.Coordinate work schedule with Operation Managers (Building, HVAC).Display proper company image to potential clients and within the community.Build strong, productive client and subcontractor relationships.Perform general laborer duties as needed.Always maintain safe delivery and handling practices and follow all company Safety for Life policies.Mechanics work 4 10-hour days and are off 3 consecutive days. Qualified Candidates Will Demonstrate:Knowledge of or ability to perform tasks in HVAC and many trades commercial and residential (i.e. carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, masonry, mechanical knowledge, basic roofing, safe power tool use, flooring, sheetrock, plaster skills a plus).Strong work ethicPunctualGood communication and listening skillsAble to follow direction and ask questions if neededWillingness to be an effective team memberClear and effective communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to multi-task and solve problems effectivelyBasic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to meet physical demands:Able to talk, sit, stand, stoop and bendClimb ladders and 5 floors of stairsBend, kneel, crawl and maneuver in and around all kinds of equipmentMove around building maintenance sitesLift a minimum of 75 pounds to waist heightExcellent hand-eye coordination, able to grasp and assemble objectsExcellent vision or corrected, including ability to distinguish basic color groups, excellent hearingJob Requirements:High School Diploma or GED; college degree or trade certification in job related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or maintenance related job.Excellent driving record; must grant permission for release of Virginia Motor Vehicle Record.Must be at least 21 years of ageWilling to take drug test and authorize background check
