Qualified Medication Aide

Overview SH-914 Qualified Medication Aide, West Lafayette, IN Purpose of Position/Summary: Our ideal candidate will work as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) on the skilled nursing units at the Client. You will perform all aspects of nursing care, within the scope of the Indiana Nurse Practice Act, with moderate supervision. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration. May supervise CNAs as directed. Answer call lights, bed/chair sensors, pull-pin alarms, and security care bracelet alarms promptly and courteously. Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates. Nonessential Duties/Responsibilities Provides 1:1 staffing if needed. Assists with resident activities on and off the unit. Responds to codes and assists as needed. Provides post-mortem care. Other related duties. #J-18808-Ljbffr
