**Join Our Dynamic Critical Care Unit Team!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Critical Care Unit - **Address:** 355 New Shackle Island Rd, Hendersonville, TN - **Unit Name:** CCU - **Shifts:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM **Unit Specifics:** - **Number of Beds:** 20 - **Patient Ratios:** 2:1 for CCU patients - **Staffing Support:** Unit secretary available on days & nights; occasional tech help - **Equipment:** GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennet ventilators - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Schedule Requirements:** 36 hours/week, 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks - **Floating Policy:** Contract labor floats before core staff - **Patient Experience Requirements:** Minimum of 1 year in critical care **Hospital Specifics:** - **Certifications:** ACLS **Hiring Profile:** - **Requested Skill Set:** - **Must Have:** - 1 year of critical care experience - Meditech experience - ACLS certification - NIH certification - **Advanced Skills:** - Ability to manage: - Arterial lines - Venous/arterial sheaths - Cardiovascular & vasopressor drips - Ventilated patients - **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Bedside central line placement - Massive transfusion protocol - **Certifications Required:** ACLS - **Dress Code:** Required uniform is black scrubs **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - (Attach unit specific policies and guidelines) **Awards/Recognition:** - Tristar Hendersonville is a CT&I (Clinical Transformation & Innovation) alpha hub for HCA.
