Location: Box Elder, South Dakota

Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience

Americas Mailbox is looking for a dependable and organized Human Resources Coordinator – Junior Level to support our day-to-day HR operations at our Box Elder location.

This is a hands-on, on-site position for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and helping keep HR processes running smoothly. You’ll assist with payroll, employee benefits, recruiting and interviews, employee records, and general HR matters as they arise.

What You’ll Do

• 
  Assist with payroll processing , timekeeping, attendance records, and payroll-related employee questions.


• 
  Support the administration of employee benefits , including helping employees with basic benefit questions and required documentation.


• 
  Assist with in-person and telephone interviews , including scheduling candidates, coordinating interview times, and supporting the hiring process.


• 
  Help prepare and process new-hire paperwork, onboarding documents, and employee records .


• 
  Maintain accurate employee information and documentation in BambooHR or similar HR systems .


• 
  Assist with tracking PTO, attendance, employee documentation, and other HR records .


• 
  Respond to routine employee questions and help direct more complex HR matters to the appropriate manager.


• 
  Provide on-site support with employee and HR issues at the Box Elder location as needed .


• 
  Assist managers with documentation, forms, HR communications, and follow-up.


• 
  Help coordinate onboarding, orientation, training, and other employee-related activities.


• 
  Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and company information.


• 
  Support additional HR and administrative projects as needed.

  Willing and able to assist with HR matters on-site in Box Elder when needed.

Qualifications

• 
  Previous experience in Human Resources, payroll, benefits, recruiting, office administration, or a related role is preferred.


• 
  Experience with BambooHR or another HRIS platform is a plus.


• 
  Payroll or benefits administration experience is a plus.


• 
  Strong computer skills and comfort working with email, spreadsheets, online systems, and digital records.


• 
  A college degree is not required but a big plus+++ ; relevant experience, professionalism, and the ability to learn are equally important.

Additional Employment Requirements

This position is on-site at our Box Elder, South Dakota location . Candidates must be able to reliably work from the Box Elder location and assist employees and management in person as needed. Hours Monday thru Friday 

This role requires discretion and confidentiality due to access to employee records, payroll information, benefits information, and other sensitive HR matters.
