Workforce Learning Manager - Columbia

Job Description This position reports to the Workforce Development Division in Columbia. The Workforce Learning Manager will oversee and participate in the administration, development, and delivery of technical and programmatic training. Develop and manage training related to compliance with federal workforce programs, implementation of policies, manuals, memos distributed to program staff, and utilization of SC Works Online Services system to manage customer service delivery Manage the Workforce Development Division's Technical Assistance Plan, assessing workforce system technical assistance needs and developing and implementing a plan to include training for SC Works Center staff. Serve as administrator of the SC Works Learning Management System ensuring the development of Standard Operating Procedures for the effective and efficient management of the system, to distribute content to the appropriate target audiences, and to track utilization and completion of required training. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of experience developing and delivering training programs for any type of audience. Knowledge of adult learning principles. Knowledge of basic Learning Management System functionality, Articulate360 or other training delivery applications, and use of the Microsoft Suite of products. Ability to design, develop, and deliver effective training programs. Effective communication and leadership skills as there will be cross-department and multi-departmental collaborations on training projects. Knowledge of capabilities and intricacies of information systems. Experience instructing in-person and virtual learners. Experience designing lesson plans and instructional materials.
