Responsibilities Perform HR responsibilities within the assigned client group, including day‑to‑day employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, coaching, employee engagement, development, and cultural change. Assist HR business partners in executing day‑to‑day activities, administering policies and procedures, providing client customer service, and supporting process improvement. Partner with functional leaders to manage talent acquisition activities, including recruiting, job scoping, offer phase, and talent‑upgrade initiatives. Support the performance‑management cycle: goal setting, mid‑year feedback, annual reviews, and compensation planning. Conduct employee investigations and advise the HRBP on complex investigations. Design presentations, facilitate training, and provide technical expertise and analytical support. Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and payroll to manage employee life‑cycle processes and transactions. Analyze, interpret, and report data to improve retention, workforce management, and resource‑planning initiatives. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and ensure compliance of policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and protect the company’s reputation through confidentiality. Work location: Hybrid – Oak Brook. Qualifications 3‑5 years of experience in Human Resources, majority as a generalist. 1‑3 years of experience managing complex employee relations cases. Master’s degree in HR or related discipline (waives other experience requirements). In‑depth knowledge of federal, multi‑state, and local employment laws and their application to HR practices. Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with people at all levels. Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to drive appropriate solutions. Preferred: consulting experience. Salary & Benefits The pay range for this position is $85,500.00 – $139,350.00. Base pay may vary based on location, education, training, and experience. In addition to base pay, a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) contribution, and eligibility for a short‑term incentive plan are offered.
