Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 1 year License: Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) PALS (AHA) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC Must-Have: Experience with ventilators and Bipap Basic respiratory treatments Ability to assist in intubation Description: The Respiratory Therapist will provide care primarily for adult patients. The role includes administering basic therapies, ABGs, EKGs, and managing bipaps/cpaps and ventilators. Therapists will participate in high-risk deliveries and cover inpatient, ER, ICU, and medical-surgical floor needs. Teamwork is essential, and candidates should jump in to assist other therapists as needed. Clinicians will work with equipment including PB980, PB840, SurvoU, LTV1200, Hamilton, and Optiflow. There will be rotational weekend and holiday coverage, as well as a variable scheduling with rare occasions of shift changes. Previous traveler experience is preferred but not required. Assistance with intubation is required, as well as inserting king airways in emergencies prior to the provider's arrival. Timely and accurate charting in the specified electronic system is essential.
