Supervisory Program Analyst

Duties
Responsible for a variety of special studies, reports, and schedules related to financial management, program cost analysis, in accordance with annual/multi-year/long range fiscal planning.
Development of annual work plans for organizations whose operations are interrelated and sometimes unstable.
Provides advice and guidance to management and Program and Project Managers and supervisory direction to subordinate Program Analysts in the interpretation and application of procedural guides and directives.
Develops and prepares the PPMD's initial, mid-year and two out-year operating budgets and assists with the development of operating budgets for other technical offices within the District.
Researches and analyzes potential improvements to District and Project Management Information Systems (PROMIS), processes, and data to evaluate for increased program effectiveness.
Assigns work to employees based on a number of considerations (e.g., employee responsibility, competence, workloads, resources available, etc.), ensuring subordinates are treated fairly and equitably and all receive any on-the-job training needed.
