Boring Mill Machinist

Come work for a highly respected West Side manufacturer in Cleveland, OH to find an experienced Boring Mill Machinist for a first-shift opportunity. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who enjoys working in a job shop environment on medium to large precision parts across automotive, machine-building, steel, and construction industries. Duties/Responsibilities- Work from blueprints to set up Horizontal Boring Mills.
- Operate HBM to machine parts to client specifications.
- Adjust speed and feed of machine as needed.
- Uses gages and other inspection devices to check measurements of finished parts.
Skills/Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience as Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist
- Experience machining medium to large parts.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Will be subject to a 10-panel drug screen and other pre-employment screening.
Pay and Shift info
- Starting pay is $20-$30/hour based on experience
- 1st shift, Monday Friday, 6am to 2:30 pm with ability to work OT as needed.
