Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, synthesizing data from patients, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to assess individual needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that align with each patient's continuum of care, ensuring specific goals and objectives are defined and communicated.
• Utilize your expertise to apply therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and exercise prescription tailored to the unique requirements of each patient.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment approaches, expected outcomes, and strategies for promoting recovery and preventing further injuries.
• Continuously re-evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Document all treatment sessions thoroughly and accurately while adhering to billing protocols and maintaining compliance with organizational standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using specialized rehabilitation equipment, ensuring safety protocols are observed and effectively communicating their purposes to patients.
• Maintain a consistent and punctual work schedule, in alignment with organizational policies and applicable laws.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with adults experiencing orthopedic injuries or conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will involve evaluating the functional mobility and physical limitations of each patient, allowing you to tailor interventions specific to their age and rehabilitation needs. Your ability to foster a supportive environment will be crucial in encouraging patients to engage actively in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida; candidates with a temporary permit are also welcome to apply.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Health Care Provider certification is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy or related fields is a plus but not mandatory. We welcome new graduates who are passionate about helping patients regain their mobility and well-being.
• Previous exposure to rehabilitation settings and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will provide an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, reflective of your qualifications and experience. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
