Work Environment

The atmosphere at our Miami facility fosters teamwork and collaboration. You will be joining a close-knit team comprising two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all who share the same commitment to patient health and wellness. Working onsite from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic setting that prioritizes patient-centered care while receiving ongoing support and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with patients to assess their physical condition and understand their individual goals and requirements.
• Manage a manageable patient caseload of one client per hour, ensuring each person receives personalized attention and care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic physical therapy to administer effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that address the specific needs of your patients, incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that enhance your patients' strengths, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, empowering them to achieve their functional goals while reducing their dependence on medications and avoiding surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care.
• Thoroughly document patient care services, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily revolve around individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical patients and those managing chronic pain or movement disorders. Our patient population consists of diverse age groups and varying activity levels, which means you will have the opportunity to tailor your care to uniquely address each patient's circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is strongly preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions related to your licensing.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and demonstrated competence in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is highly beneficial.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic physical therapy outpatient setting, showcasing your ability to handle a wide range of conditions.
• Experience in treating sports-related injuries and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
