Impact Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Miami Beach, Florida. In this full-time role, you will serve as a vital partner in our patients' journey toward mobility restoration and optimal function. Your primary focus will involve maximizing patients' quality of life through specialized therapies that encompass promotion, prevention, diagnosis, intervention, and rehabilitation.

Work Environment

Our facility is designed with the needs of our patients in mind. Situated in a welcoming outpatient office, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and a range of therapeutic modalities. Working onsite with a collaborative team enhances communication and ensures continuity of care, vital for effective treatment outcomes. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to establish patient goals and individual needs, ensuring a tailored approach to each treatment plan.
• Implement cost-effective and evidence-based treatment modalities that enhance patients' movement capabilities and promote recovery.
• Design and deliver customized fitness and wellness programs that align with the specific health profiles of patients, enhancing both physical and mental well-being.
• Motivate patients throughout their therapy sessions by providing empathetic support and encouraging them to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment strategies that accommodate various musculoskeletal concerns.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, maintaining open communication with patients about their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work predominantly with patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, specializing in those dealing with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. This role demands an understanding of diverse patient backgrounds and the ability to adapt treatment plans to meet unique physical capabilities and goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, emphasizing hands-on treatment with patients suffering from musculoskeletal issues.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with patients, their families, and fellow healthcare staff.
• Proficiency in patient management, with a focus on conducting assessments, treatment planning, and direct care.

Preferred Experience

• Proven ability to manage and connect with patients of varying personalities, demonstrating patience and understanding.

Compensation and Benefits
