Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing relevant medical history and performing specific assessments to create personalized care plans.
• Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal-setting for rehabilitation.
• Implement targeted treatment protocols based on patient-specific evaluations and adapt strategies as needed in response to patient progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient care, recognizing the need for adjustments in treatment plans and involving additional medical consultations as necessary.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner, including treatment plans, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain effective time management and productivity standards to contribute to departmental efficiency, attend mandatory meetings punctually, and participate in marketing efforts both in-house and within the community.
• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evolving rehabilitation methodologies.
• Contribute to department goals and comply with industry regulations, ensuring that our services meet and exceed accreditation and quality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist at Condor Spine and Orthopaedics, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient base varies widely in age and needs, providing a diverse caseload that allows you to utilize your skills to make a meaningful impact in their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution and must hold a current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for working effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, those with experience in outpatient rehabilitation and familiarity with various treatment modalities such as manual therapy techniques, modalities for pain management, and exercise prescriptions will be preferred.
