Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, incorporating their full health history and specific assessments to establish effective treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal setting.
• Implement personalized treatment protocols based on each patient's evaluation findings and progress, adapting plans to the evolving healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address changing patient conditions and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Oversee discharge planning, ensuring that patients receive appropriate follow-up care, while maintaining accurate and timely documentation of interventions and patient progress.
• Maintain productivity standards and effective time management, ensuring all patient appointments are scheduled and conducted efficiently.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and hospital marketing initiatives, demonstrating commitment to organizational goals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and education, serving as a clinical instructor and mentor for students and new therapists.
• Foster an excellent patient experience by being adaptable and responsive to patient needs, contributing to community outreach efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from surgery, sports-related injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will have a direct impact on their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid DPT State license to practice in Florida.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
• Commitment to continued professional education and self-improvement in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, although not strictly required.
• Experience working in an outpatient or rehabilitation facility is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
