Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and developing functional mobility.
• Evaluate patients' physical abilities through assessments that include muscle, nerve, and joint testing, and formulate appropriate treatment regimens based on findings.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, ensuring optimal execution and client understanding.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed in collaboration with patients and their physicians to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to established care protocols and effective service delivery.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights on patient care and collaborate on comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Engage patients and their families in educational sessions about health, exercise, and the utilization of therapeutic devices to promote self-management and independence.
• Prepare clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, complying with all regulatory standards.
• Assess the home environment for potential barriers to rehabilitation and provide guidance to clients on enhancing accessibility and safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse range of clients seeking outpatient rehabilitation services. You will work with individuals recovering from surgery, experiencing chronic pain, or managing mobility challenges due to various conditions. Tailoring your approach to fit each patient's needs will be essential in fostering a positive and effective therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in physical therapy practices.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, maintaining good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with patients and family members.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence, integrity, and patient-centric care.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits

Your contributions as a Physical Therapist will be recognized with a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, alongside comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plan participation, and opportunities for continuing education.
