Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Confluent Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of each patient's physical condition and rehabilitative needs.
• Directing therapy treatments that relieve pain, enhance mobility, and restore function while considering the unique capabilities of each patient.
• Conducting evaluations using diagnostic and prognostic tools to assess muscle, nerve, and joint functionality, and documenting findings in OASIS-compliant clinical records.
• Supervising and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and patient care plans.
• Administering manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises, alongside implementing modalities such as traction and massage as part of comprehensive therapy sessions.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team during case conferences to provide rounded, comprehensive care and treatment recommendations that best serve our patients.
• Continually monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans to reflect improvements or necessary changes in patient conditions.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives aimed at educating the public on physical health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will care for a diverse group of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our client demographic spans all ages, from pediatric patients requiring physical therapy due to congenital or developmental conditions to geriatric patients needing rehabilitation post-surgery or as part of managing chronic illnesses. This variety enriches your professional experience, enabling you to apply a wide range of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient needs.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid Florida PT license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze patient data to inform treatment decisions.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly those designed for physical therapy practices, is highly advantageous. Compensation and Benefits
