Work Environment

This position is based in our onsite outpatient office in Miami, known for its welcoming atmosphere and state-of-the-art facilities designed to support effective rehabilitation. You will work typical office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to state practice acts and regulations related to physical therapy practices, ensuring compliance in all aspects of care.
• Conduct detailed patient assessments to examine functional limitations and develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Perform thorough evaluations, which include reviewing patient histories, conducting specific assessments, and documenting the results accurately to inform treatment pathways.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to enhance patient recovery outcomes.
• Consult with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on improved patient conditions.
• Manage patient discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring continuity of care through detailed documentation and clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Participate in required clinical training sessions and maintain compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
• Attend scheduled meetings, contributing insights and engaging in initiatives aimed at improving patient access and care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic physical therapist will primarily work with patients recovering from various orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and management of chronic pain conditions. Each patient will receive individualized care that addresses their unique needs, enhances mobility, and promotes recovery. By building strong therapeutic relationships, you will be instrumental in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall physical functioning.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Current state licensure as a physical therapist (DPT).
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is essential for this role.
• A valid CPR certification is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Background in patient education or developing exercise programs to enhance patient engagement in their treatment.
• Familiarity with current best practices and advancements in orthopedic physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
