Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and establish goals tailored to individual recovery journeys.
• Conduct evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating various therapeutic techniques.
• Provide hands-on therapy and instruction, seeing an average of 2-3 patients per hour, to facilitate their rehabilitation processes.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that minimize reliance on medications and potentially invasive procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Utilize EMR systems, such as WebPT, to document patient care accurately and communicate with interdisciplinary health team members.
• Create and promote wellness and fitness programs aimed at enhancing patients' overall physical performance.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment processes, instilling confidence and promoting a healthier lifestyle.
• Consult with other health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population facing orthopedic issues ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding individuals from various backgrounds towards improved mobility, strength, and overall health.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist License, free from disciplinary actions.
• Current National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or willingness to obtain prior to employment.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred.
• Proficient manual therapy skills and knowledge of therapeutic exercises.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
