Rehabilitation Physical Therapist (Full Time)

Headstrong Rehabilitation & Wellness is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Miami, Florida. This essential full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to our orthopedic outpatient population. Located in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, our rehabilitation facility boasts a state-of-the-art environment that is designed to foster healing and recovery. The onsite facility enables effective collaboration among healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and support staff. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic while allowing for ample interaction with patients during their rehabilitation journey.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' orthopedic conditions, reviewing pertinent medical histories and assessing physical capabilities.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based protocols and innovative therapies.

Document clinical findings accurately, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to comply with healthcare regulations.

Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure coordinated care for patients.

Facilitate patient education regarding therapy techniques, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.

Participate in continuous professional development by engaging in training sessions, staying informed about the latest findings in orthopedic physical therapy.

Maintain a safe and professional environment by adhering to state/local/federal regulations and compliance standards.

Our facility caters primarily to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, chronic pain disorders, and post-operative rehabilitation. This role requires you to leverage your expertise to evaluate, treat, and motivate patients of all ages, helping them regain mobility, strength, and confidence in their physical abilities. Your work will directly contribute to their quality of life and will involve fostering meaningful relationships that encourage their rehabilitation journey.

A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

Active licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining professional standards.

Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification, ensuring readiness for any medical situation.

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in outpatient orthopedics is required, we value candidates who bring additional expertise in specific therapeutic modalities or advanced rehabilitation techniques. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and treatment planning software is also preferred to enhance clinical efficiency.
