3 12-hour shifts per week

6:00am - 6:30pm

Provide early and appropriate assessment, placement, and post care management for patients requiring access via a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC).

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of two years experience as a professional nurse in a clinical setting required.
• Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or nursing diploma required.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility required.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required. Basic life support certification required.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or master's of science in nursing (MSN) degree preferred.
• Prior PICC experience preferred.
• High level skills in critical thinking and assessment related to vascular access device selection preferred.
