Workday Product Owner - Talent Acquisition

Workday Talent Acquisition Product Owner The Workday Talent Acquisition Product Owner is a strategic, cross‑functional role responsible for architecting the roadmap of Talent Acquisition technology across the organization. This position focuses on harmonizing business processes, Talent Acquisition workflows, data architecture, and system integrations to drive informed decision‑making and elevate the employee experience. Key Responsibilities Own and define the multi‑year strategy, vision, and roadmap for Talent Acquisition technology. Collaborate with senior HR, IT, Finance, and external partners to align product direction with HR priorities and growth goals. Lead product execution within a scaled Agile (SAFe) environment, prioritizing a complex product backlog, managing PI planning, sprints, and releases. Translate business requirements into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications. Ensure high‑quality delivery through rigorous testing, validation, and continuous improvement. Oversee integrations across Workday, payroll, finance, and third‑party benefits providers; evaluate performance, data integrity, and user experience. Champion automation, simplification, and innovation across HCM processes. Collaborate with IT to design solutions that improve the end‑to‑end employee journey and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Act as liaison between HR and IT, translating technical concepts, gathering requirements, and communicating prioritization to stakeholders. Maintain data governance, compliance, and security for HRIS solutions; monitor adoption using metrics and analytics. Manage stakeholder communication: status updates, release notes, and change impact. Work across focused areas: Total Rewards, Talent & Employee Lifecycle, Pay, Time & Attendance. Guide system configuration for compensation cycles, hiring workflows, onboarding, payroll, scheduling, and labor reporting. Support problem resolution, analyze performance, and provide post‑production support. Required Qualifications Proven experience owning and driving product strategy in a complex, cross‑functional environment. Deep expertise in Talent Acquisition and related HR technologies. Strong experience with Workday (highly preferred) or similar HCM platforms. Demonstrated success operating within Agile frameworks at scale (SAFe or equivalent). Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business strategy into technology outcomes. Analytical mindset with a track record of using data to drive decisions and outcomes. Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications preferred. 7+ years product ownership, HR technology, or related experience. Experience leading enterprise‑level initiatives from concept through delivery and optimization.
