IBM Maximo Developer

Position Overview: This role supports MAS migration and software optimization projects. Works closely with IT subject matter experts and key stakeholders across business areas, providing Maximo functional and technical guidance. Collaborates with implementation partners and IBM support teams. Provides ongoing support and maintenance for IBM Maximo, ensuring platform stability for daily operations. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support applications using Maximo 7.6.x / MAS. Experience with MAS 8 / 9 migration, especially from on-premises to cloud (SaaS). Knowledge of Manage, Spatial, and Mobile modules. Translate business requirements into functional specifications. Provide production support, resolving user issues related to system performance, availability, and functionality. Work with client teams and colleagues to meet project goals. Develop and share Maximo configuration expertise, including Database Config, Escalations, Cron Tasks, Domains, etc. Expertise in Java customizations, automation scripts, and integrating Maximo with external applications like SAP and Ariba. Coordinate with middleware and infrastructure teams to resolve issues. Design and develop BIRT reports and write SQL scripts for data extraction. Skills: Systems and software debugging skills. Experience with application development tools, system installation, and configuration. Ability to troubleshoot software/system problems and monitor system performance. Experience in implementation, change management, and testing activities. Support experience with applications like Maximo and Datasplice. Proficiency with Windows Servers and understanding of Active Directory, DNS, NTFS permissions, security configurations, and group policies. Experience with relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server and scripting. Minimum of six years supporting Maximo and similar applications.
