This is a high-volume and fast-paced practice that prides itself on efficiency and innovation.Position SummaryProduction Specialists at RAS LaVrar facilitate the generation of legal documents and file them with the courts. Individuals working in this position are responsible for operating processes which produce legal documents such as lawsuits, motions, and judgments in batches based on templates. Production Specialists are not expected to draft pleadings.Responsibilities and DutiesThe following responsibilities are central to the role:Produce legal documents in batchesAssess the results of automations which produce documents nightly.Navigate the firm's case management system (CMS).Assemble packages of documents both digitally and physically.File documents with the courtsNavigate a complex system of e-filing and paper-filing jurisdictions across multiple states.Deliver physical documents to the mailroom for filing in paper-file jurisdictions.Submit documents for filing via online portals for filing in e-file jurisdictions.Handle edge casesIdentify cases which fall out of the firm's production pipeline.Think critically to ensure cases with unique circumstances do not fall behind.Core Competencies & Required SkillsCandidates who succeed in this position typically:Are results-oriented.Pay close attention to detail.Display comfort and sensibility when working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.Beat deadlines.Exhibit time-management skills/ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Take pride in the ability to work independently and problem solve.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone and email etiquette.Possess foundational computer knowledge and skills including familiarity with programs within the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.Educational/Experience QualificationCandidates who succeed in this position typically:Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.Individuals who excel in this role typically have academic backgrounds in operations management, criminal justice, pre-law, and/or engineering.Experience in a legal office may compensate for education.Individuals who excel in this role typically have industry experience in the fields of collections and/or personal injury law.Working ConditionsOnsite Position - Plantation, FloridaOperates no tools, machines or equipmentNo significant liftingBenefitsPaid time offPaid holidays401K PlanMedical, dental, vision and supplemental health insurance plansVoluntary life insurance planWork EnvironmentMondays to FridaysOffice Located in Plantation, FLPosition: On site roleShift options to choose from8:00 am to 5:00 pm8:30 am to 5:30 pm9:00 am to 6:00 pmRAS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
