Join a team pushing the boundaries of advanced composites and building the future of the industry!Position OverviewThe Project Estimator/Analyst will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing departments to create project quotes for parts, tools, and any other costs that are required to meet customer requests. This role will gather data and put together cost estimates to provide to the Senior Project Analyst. This role will also provide support by gathering data and understanding real costs once projects begin production.Key ResponsibilitiesReview RFQs with Engineering and Senior Project Analyst to ensure all project requirements are understood.Develop bottom-up cost estimates by concurrently working with Engineering and Manufacturing departments.Ensure material costs, labor rates, and all other job costs are accurate on quote sheets.Communicate routinely with customers, vendors, and department leads to help gather information required for project costs.Assist Purchasing and Planning departments with quoted estimate information once an order has been received.Review, maintain and organize open quote list.Review and monitor project actuals to analyze quoting accuracy.Support senior management with insights and data regarding actual project costs.Perform all other duties as assigned.What You Will Bring to the TeamHigh school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.Minimum 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with exposure to cost accounting methods.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office software products.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work independently.Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident in compliance with ITAR regulations.Our Investment in YouComprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.401(k) matching after 6 months tenurePaid time off (PTO) for vacation and sick daysEmployee referral programShift differential for 2nd shift employeesPotential to earn quarterly discretionary bonuses based on company performanceDiscounts on select services/productsClimate-controlled work environmentHours of Operation: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends, overtime, and holidays as scheduled by leadership.Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Depending on the position and assigned duties, working conditions and physical requirements may include, but are not limited to:Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sittingClimbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, or pullingLifting, carrying, pushing, or moving materials, products, tools, or equipmentUsing computers, machinery, material-handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, or other job-related equipmentPerforming work that requires hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the handling of small parts or componentsWorking around moving mechanical equipment and in areas with varying noise levels, temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, dust, chemicals, or other manufacturing-related conditionsWearing required personal protective equipment, which may include safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, protective footwear, respirators, or other designated PPEUsing close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision, color recognition, and the ability to adjust focus when required by the positionThe specific work environment and physical requirements will depend on the essential functions of the position.
