Assistant Project Manager / Estimator - Pipeline Construction

Associate Project Manager And EstimatorNorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services company specializing in pipeline infrastructure construction, is seeking an Associate Project Manager and Estimator to support its construction team in Huntersville, North Carolina. This early career role combines project coordination and estimating responsibilities. The position assists project managers throughout the project lifecycle, prepares and maintains estimates, tracks project costs, and helps keep office and field teams aligned.The responsibilities include preparing project estimates, supporting project managers with planning, coordination, execution, and closeout activities, preparing, reviewing, and tracking project invoices and supporting documentation, maintaining organized project records, coordinating project requirements, documentation, and updates between office personnel and field teams, tracking job costs and assisting with estimate at completion reporting, forecasts, and variance reviews, coordinating with subcontractors regarding scope, schedules, documentation, and project requirements, submitting and maintaining One Call notifications and updates in accordance with project needs and applicable requirements, and visiting local project sites as needed to review progress, verify conditions, and support project coordination.Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, building science, or a related field, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook; familiarity with Microsoft Project is preferred, strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills, clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with office and field teams, ability to learn quickly, take initiative, manage competing priorities, and follow through on assigned tasks, valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to project sites.Preferred qualifications include internship, apprenticeship, or up to three years of experience in construction, pipeline construction, project coordination, or estimating, coursework or practical experience in construction methods, estimating, scheduling, cost control, or project management, and exposure to pipeline or utility construction and field operations.As a Quanta Services employee, we offer a wide range of benefits to fit your needs including 401(k) with immediate matching and vesting, fully comprehensive benefits packages; Medical, Dental, Vision, short term and long term benefits, and employee discounts on consumer goods.Equal Opportunity Employer.
